Greatly enjoyed the place, had a fantastic stay on a road trip through western Nova Scotia. Central location just next door to the farmers market, the waterfront and the center of town, it was in a fairly nice area. Plus, it was only 5 minutes by walk from Astor Theatre Event Venue.

Quaint place with great Wi-Fi and attached restaurant. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the king room, plus a coffeemaker and a lounge. Attentive staff, beautiful and excellent location really close to such a good restaurant, the Astor Theatre, and town amenities. Also, close to the centre of town. Fab and brilliant food, good service.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The location of the hotel, along a cove by the river, provided stunning views and a serene atmosphere. Another highlight was the attention to detail in the rooms on the second floor, with a balcony which ran around the first floor. It was a unique touch, though some may prefer more privacy. Additionally, the included breakfast was delicious and satisfying, ensuring I had a great start to my day.
The hotel could benefit from some upgrading and maintenance.

All good — we greatly enjoyed this old-fashioned hotel — the food was fabulous and the staff were genuinely helpful.
The area was quite dirty.

Our recent stay at Lanes Privateer Inn was comfortable and enjoyable. The location was convenient with parking and on-site dining options. We were offered a choice of rooms and found ours to be clean and cozy. The Irish music entertainment during dinner was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast in the coffee bar was also a delightful experience. I would recommend this hotel.
